LinkChecker - Quickly Check All Links on Your Website
Check all links on a website, identify broken links, and analyze different types of links.
What is this?
LinkChecker is a website link checking tool. Enter a website URL to find all non-working broken links, while filtering internal and external links for comprehensive link health analysis.
Why I Built This?
In my notes, I often store links to articles or website tools, so that I can revisit them when I have time.
Although I try to organize some websites into navigation-like interfaces, many websites are not included. After a while, these websites may become inaccessible. At this point, if I can know which websites have failed, I can replace them in time.
So, I wrote a tool that can batch check whether website links are broken. Later, I continued to improve this tool to further check all links on an entire website, so that I can more comprehensively analyze the link health of the website.
And, to better align with SEO optimization, I also added filtering features, such as grouping links by domain and filtering by status, as well as identifying internal and external links.
Core Features
- Internal/External Link Analysis - Identify and categorize internal and external links
- Real-time Filtering - Group by domain and filter by status
- RSS Discovery - Find RSS subscription links on blogs
Check Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Check | Batch input links, quickly get return status codes for each link, suitable for verifying bookmarks, external link lists, etc. |
| Advanced Check | Enter a website URL, automatically extract all available links from the page and check status one by one, find broken links, suitable for full-site link health checks |
What Problem Does It Solve?
When maintaining websites or organizing bookmarks, checking link validity manually is time-consuming. Existing tools often require login and captcha verification. LinkChecker provides a simple, login-free solution for comprehensive link health monitoring.
