ImageDash - A Search Engine Image Search Launcher Tool
Use images, URLs, or text for reverse search to find what you're looking for on image search engines.
What is this?
ImageDash is a simple and efficient image reverse search launcher. Upload images, paste image links, or enter descriptive text to find image sources, similar images, or more information on search engines like Google, Yandex, Bing, and TinEye.
Why I Built This?
Every time I use reverse image search, I have to manually find the entry points for each search engine. Some search engines have deeply buried entry points that require several clicks to find.
To improve search efficiency, I researched existing reverse image search tools and found that they simply upload your image to an image hosting service and then redirect you to the search engine's image search page—in other words, they just perform a redirect.
I felt that having images go through third-party servers wasn't ideal and could pose privacy concerns. So, I found a simple solution myself, implementing short-term image link storage. I can use it with confidence, as uploaded content is automatically cleared after 5 minutes.
Most other features are similar to existing reverse image search tools, but I also added text search, allowing you to directly enter descriptive text or upload images.
Core Features
- Multiple Input Methods - Support uploading images, pasting URLs, or entering text descriptions
- Multi-Engine Support - One-click access to Google, Yandex, Bing, TinEye and other major search engines
- Privacy & Security - Images are temporarily stored only in browser locally, never uploaded to any server, automatically cleared after search
What Problem Does It Solve?
Using reverse image search requires manually finding each search engine's entry point, which is tedious. ImageDash integrates multiple search engine entries, launching searches with one click.
